The Music Works
“It’s easier to be done than to be right”, says PBB producer Martin Baird reminding us that the long studio hours we’ve logged recently are well invested. It was August of 2006 when we first began laying down songs for this project and here we are, May 2007, still tweaking, twisting, bending and morphing our song files. Into what, we don’t know but they rock!! With all the time we’ve put towards this project you’d think we were recording a two CD box set complete with a live DVD but that’s not in the budget this time around. Rest assured though, there is a new collection of songs coming soon………………………………………..we think.
Benefit Concert Feb. 18
The benefit concert for Margaret Rosen featuring, PBB, David Cote Band and Eli Young was a blast and a huge success as a fundraiser!!! We’re told that just under $10,000.00 was raised through ticket sales and donations; money that will go a long way during Margaret’s recovery.
Thanks to everyone who joined us for this special evening and to Eddie Deen's Ranch and The Susan G Komen For The Cure Organization for their efforts to sponsor and organize this event.

PBB at Duncanville's First Baptist Church
Hello friends! We played at a DiscipleNow event this past weekend at Duncanville's First Baptist Church and had an incredible time. This was the first church we’ve played in awhile so it was great to be back in the worship atmosphere with a bunch of loud students. Sunday morning PBB was joined on stage by DFBC’s Choir and long time friends Sojourners. We’re hoping someone will send us some pictures of the event for our site. Alas, we had no camera.

Club Clearview is No More
Who knew that Club Clearview was shutting its doors after 20 plus years of operation? It shocked us beyond belief to say the least. Seeing as how December 30th was our first time performing in the small club and December 31st was the last night they would be open. No future dates for PBB at this hot spot. It's a shame...the Dallas Deep Ellum scene has slowly lost patron after patron. There are differences of opinion as to why but the obvious answer is that most people are staying away to keep from being mugged. Crime stinks...and another good club bites the dust because of it. Farewell Clearview, thanks for many years of great music and for our one night on your Texas flag adorned stage.
